Following the release of a curated set of YSL Beauty lipsticks inspired by her loved ones almost a year ago, Kravitz is celebrating the new year by announcing her second collaboration with the brand, creating eight new shades of the iconic Rouge Pur Couture lipstick.
True to style, the limited-edition collection, which is available to shop online, once again draws a sentimental parallel to Kravitz's lived experience. Each of the eight shades have been inspired by cities that have personally shaped the model and actor, featuring London where she has shot her latest film, Los Angeles where the star spent much of her childhood, New York City and Paris. Each city is represented through two varying shades of red, with each hue variation intended to create urban looks, emote romantic feelings, represent bold statements in beauty, and promote a fun and playful style.

For her YSL Beauty Rouge Pur Couture lipstick collaboration, Zoë Kravitz has championed a wide selection of reds with varying undertones – perfect for all complexions. For London, Kravitz created No. 143 London Sky and No. 144 Shoreditch Walk, deep nudes with a red undertone. For LA, she created two burgundy reds, No. 149 Midnight LA and No. 150 Topanga Sunset and for New York City, she went with a pure red in No. 147 Brooklyn Baby and No. 148 NYC Jungle. The ideal shade for a romantic summer escapade, Paris is represented in two orange-red hues, No. 145 Lost in Marias and No. 146 Paris Stroll.
Rich, highly pigmented in colour and creamy in nature, the collection promises long-lasting, satin-finish coverage with its highly-moisturising formula. If the desirable colour selection and weightless formula isn't enough to entice you, the lipstick's lavish square-shaped silver packaging will add a feminine, yet edgy touch to your beauty cabinet.
