We devoured the source material and at long last Daisy Jones & The Six is finally here. As the episodes begin to air, we want to get into all the juicy bits! Aside from the real life comparison to Fleetwood Mac, we're enamoured with the cast, specifically the women of the show. When Riley Keough and Suki Waterhouse are involved, is it any surprise? Below, everything we know about the women behind Daisy Jones & the Six.

Riley Keough

Casting a character that is based off the inimitable Stevie Nicks is no easy task. They've got to be charismatic and equally magnetic. Safe to say the creators of Daisy Jones & the Six struck gold when they landed on Riley Keough.

Born Danielle Riley Keough, the actor shed her first name when she began working on films. She's no stranger to the music industry, as the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, and her first role she ever landed was in another music biopic, The Runaways, a 2010 drama based off of Cherie Currie and Joan Jett's 70s band starring Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart.

Where have you seen her before? Besides wearing a confederate flag bikini in Andrea Arnold's American Honey, one of her most recent roles includes acting alongside Taylour Paige in the Twitter-thread-turned-film Zola.

In Daisy Jones & the Six, Keough plays the feisty, talented yet low-on-self-esteem singer, who is discovering her value and the potency of her own musical chops.

Suki Waterhouse

Similarly to Riley Keough, Suki Waterhouse has been in the limelight since she was young. The British singer began modelling at the age of 16, and has since pivoted to careers in acting and singing. As a musician herself, Waterhouse's role of Karen Sirko in Daisy Jones & the Six, a character loosely based on Christie McVie, is a natural fit. As she tells Rolling Stone, “I was really attracted to the life of a musician before I even was telling anybody that I was actually writing".

Now she's living out her music dreams, having opened for Father John Misty's US tour. In a lot of ways she's also living out our personal dreams, having been in a relationship with Robert Pattinson since 2018. What can we say, the woman has great taste?

Camila Morrone

In Daisy Jones & the Six, Camila Morrone's character Camila Dunne is the original sixth member of the band, although she's a photographer not a musician. Morrone is the young wife of lead guitarist Billy, played by Sam Claflin, and falls pregnant as the band gathers momentum. In some ways, her character is dealt the short hand, but she's never passive, and watching her play this strong-headed woman in the 70s is really comforting.

Where have you seen her before? The Angeleno has modelled for brands such as Loewe, Coach and Topshop and she landed her first role in 2014, with James Franco's Bukowski biopic. Later, she would star in Mickey and the Bear, however her work on Daisy Jones & the Six is her most high profile gig to date. It would be remiss of us to mention that Morrone is also known for better or worse, as one of Leonardo DiCaprio's 25-and-under exes. The two broke up in 2022.

The good news is, you won't have to wait too long to catch Morrone in another on screen performance. The actor is currently working on Gonzo Girlwhere she plays the resourceful assistant to legendary gonzo journalist Walker Reade, brought to life by Willem Dafoe.

Nabiyah Be

Daisy Jones & the Six is not the first acting role for Nabiyah Be, but it is her second. Well known for her 2018 stint as the villain Linda in Black Panther, she plays Daisy's best friend in the show, Simone Jackson, a character that shares similarities with Queen of Disco, Donna Summer.

Like all the female leads in Daisy Jones & the Six, Nabiyah comes from a musical background, which is necessary as her character has a lot of singing scenes. The 30-year-old Brazilian actress is the daughter of Jamaican musician Jimmy Cliff and is a musician in her own right, fusing her own reality as a third culture kid, jazz and soul with generational bonds, mysticism and folklore.
