Armani Beauty appoints Sydney Sweeney as the face of its upcoming fragrance

Of all Sydney Sweeney's roles, this latest one is an unexpected career highlight. Armani Beauty has chosen to start the year off with a bang, by appointing Sydney Sweeney as its newest and most recognisable face. Her first duty as an Armani Beauty ambassador? To front the campaign of the Armani Beauty's forthcoming fragrance, My Way.

“I could not be happier and prouder to represent Armani Beauty," Sweeney said in a press statement. "This brand values inner beauty and provides high-quality products to bring out everyone’s most authentic selves. My Way is a fresh fragrance that perfectly encapsulates so much of myself that I can share with others."

It's a scent that Sweeney has come to know intimately over the past year, yet as the actor told Vogue, it's one that resonated immediately. “I remember growing up and wanting to find that one scent that was ‘me,’ like if someone smelled it, they would think of Sydney,” Sweeney told Vogue. “When I tried My Way I was like, ‘Holy moly!’ This is actually me.”

Sydney Sweeney is a fan of vanilla, and it's a note that surfaces in the bright and free-spirited My Way, alongside more floral inclusions such as orange blossom, blue iris pallida, tuberose, jasmine, and the steadying scent of cedarwood. With the campaign for My Way expected to launch officially later in January, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for Sydney Sweeney's latest gig – and our noses too. Wouldn't it be nice to smell like a two-time Emmy nominated actress? We like to think so.

In the meantime, Sweeney will also serve as the face of Armani Beauty's makeup line, joining other faces and friends of the house like Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Barbara Palvin, and Valentina Sampaio. This is her first ambassadorship in the realm of beauty, one which complements her relationship with Tory Burch seamlessly.
