All the inspiration you need for your New Years Eve 2023 glam

New years eve gives me the same energy as halloween in the sense that 'Halloween is the one night a year you can dress however you want to and no one can say anything about it.' But who are you going to be this year? Will it be a year for all-out shimmer? Perhaps a vinyl liner is more your speed.

No matter which way you go about it, one thing's for sure. This is no time to hold back! Let your hair down, (or wear it up) just make sure you're doing you. This makes the prospect of putting together a daring look for the night all the more acceptable. As the old adage goes, how you spend your New Year's Eve is how you'll spend the rest of your year. So why not have a little fun with it?

We're bringing you inspo from some legends of the beauty game who have dominated the beauty game this year with some killer looks to inspire you ahead of New Years Eve.

A violet smoulder

If anyone has killed it in the beauty department this year, it's been Danielle Marcan. She's led us through many a makeup trend, and we are right there with her to the very end. Try something crazy like her velvety violet smoulder, or choose your own shade of slay.!

There's something inherently 90s about this light blue wash of shadow, gently brushed over the eyelids. If this in itself isn't gorgeous enough, add in some diamontes and a wing to make it feel like you're super modelling your way into 2023.

Ombre all the way

We've been seeing it on our nails so why not move the ombre to our eyelids? Bonus points if you do both at the same time.

A Julia Fox smoulder

If you've been observing Julia Fox's smudged-out sexy gaze on Instagram this year, but haven't felt bold enough to try it on for yourself, now may very well be the time. The key is a very glowy base that borderlines on shiny. Pair with a slicked-back hairstyle and nude lip and you're in business

The blue liner

When the queen of Euphoria makeup talks, we listen. This punchy look MUA Alexanra French created for our girl Chloe Cherry packs exactly the kind of punch we're into this New Years Eve. For more impact, add some blush and a pink shimmering lip and you'll be unforgettable.
