What everyone is wearing to Haute Couture Week for Spring 2024

Street style from Haute Couture Week Spring Summer 2024

January is a big month for many of the creative disciplines. As Hollywood primes itself for awards season, the fashion set flock to Paris to sit in for Haute Couture Week. So far, the Spring Summer 2024 season has delivered a knockout collection (as always) from Daniel Roseberry at Schiaparelli, and at Christian Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri sifts through the archives, seeking inspiration in the French Maison's 50s ball gowns and refashioning them with a quiet luxury twist. With the Oscars mere months away, we expect to see a handful of these styles worn on the red carpet.

As much as Haute Couture Week is about the meticulous designs rolling down the runway, one cannot ignore how the congregation of fashion industry stalwarts and friends alike makes for delicious people watching – especially if you're as passionate about street style as we are. So what is everyone wearing to Haute Couture Fashion Week for Spring 2024?

The guest list for Schiaparelli includes the likes of Hunter Schafer, Zendaya, Natalia Vodianova and Karlie Kloss, all of who turned up and out in Roseberry's distinctive designs for the house, recognisable by gilded accents and sculptural accessories. Later, at Christian Dior, the show was attended by Jeanne Damas and most notably Rihanna, who injected Maria Grazia Chiuri's designs with an original and electric energy.

Against the backdrop of all the glamour of Haute Couture, the off duty style of models like Maggie Maurer and Bibi Breslin acted as a palette cleanser between shows, where they traded in the atelier's most time-consuming and laborious garments for shearling flight jackets, trench coats and simple loafers.

That's the magic of street style, with the right styling and attitude, everything has a time and place.
