The warm weather trends we’re exploring this spring summer

Let's all be honest. As soon as we're allowed out, it's going to be a very hot and a very rogue summer. In praise of this week's news that our nation may be opening up again soon, at RUSSH we started to think a little more about what the season ahead holds in terms of summer trends.

Of course we have already kickstarted off our spring summer round ups, including our favourite brands to covet for the warmer months, to the best of the best in oxford shirts (as at the end of the day, they are undoubtedly the best beach day cover up). So below, RUSSH have gone ahead and put together a simple tasting menu; the three key trends we see ourselves gravitating towards this coming season.

The Summer Short Sleeve

From top left to right: Maryam Nassir Zadeh; Kapital; Celine; Kapital; Acne Studios.

Summer has always been about the summer style cuban. Those short sleeve shirts popularised by the hot men of Cuba, ones that are always a little too boxy on the shoulder, breezy enough to fly in the wind and here - ones screaming to worn unbuttoned. Here are some of our favourite styles, printed, Hawaiian or plain - the perfect boxy mens shirt worth considering.

Sequins & Shimmer

From top left to right: Saks Pott; Bottega Veneta; Saint Laurent; Christopher Esber; Acne Studios; Miista.

Look, we're all about to get unhinged. Collectively, that's the energy we're already predicting. So here why not embrace everything that screams "I've been locked up and now I'm going out to ruin my life", and start here with our favourites from Go-Go boots by Miista and gold metallics by Bottega Veneta.

Sarong Me Up

From top left to right: Attico; Issimo; Toteme; Ganni; Pucci.

Okay, to my opinion, a sarong is more an everyday object rather than something of a seasonal trend piece. But if you haven't yet been acquainted with this trusty old number, it would only be my pleasure to introduce. Here, our favourites as seen worn on Kaya by Attico, the classic by Emilio Pucci and one chic enough to eat by Swedes at Toteme.
