As we fall well into mid July, we see ourselves caving without a choice into bracing ourselves for hibernation for the rest of the cooler weeks that lie ahead. However slow, here at RUSSH, things have not been any less chaotic and here we once again to round up some of our favourite sights for July.
A big month that had us falling back in love with the minimal and the neutral - a round up steering clear of prints or anything loud and too ambitious. Instead we graciously spent the month quietly savouring pieces that feel gentle, nurturing, safe and timeless. One of our favourite LA jewellery designers Sophie Buhai and her new masculine Godfather ring made itself a nice home in our hearts, a nostalgic but bold take on a timeless jewel you can wear and cherish everywhere.
Also perhaps it may just be that Sydney is locked down inevitably, that our round up for this month seems to sway towards the comforting. RUSSH editors looked no further than to one of our favourite New Yorkers, Araks, for their paired back and elegant take on intimates and sleepwear, coveting their beautifully tasteful cotton boxers ow available in white and mint green. Footwear was a big discovery this month also, with beautiful loafers by Hereu and Toteme and the perfect mule slip ons made by our favourite Swedes, Our Legacy.
