RUSSH Loves: beauty favourites from September

Summer is coming and we've got a whole list of September beauty favourites to help you welcome the warmth.

Read on to see what's made this list this month.

St Tropez Bronzing Mist

Streak-free and no mess, tanning waters are a lifesaver if you're not a seasoned fake-tanner. This St Tropez iteration goes on clear, just like water, and will develop into a light bronzy tan over four to eight hours. Apply again for a buildable, natural colour, or just leave as is for a subtle glow. It smells like summer and is enriched with antioxidants. A summer must-have in my opinion.

R+Co All-in-One Elixir Spray

There are so many things to love about this fabulous hair product, but one of the best things about it is it comes in an aerosol can. Fighting to evenly distribute hair product is a thing of the past when you can evenly spray this creamy formula across your strands. Perfect application, every time. The formula itself is enough to tame curls and frizz but not enough to weigh your hair down. Tick, tick and tick.

Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner

I can't think of many skin issues this toner won't fix. Congestion, dullness, flakiness, roughness, dark spots and other signs of ageing face a fearsome warrior in the Ole Henriksen Dark Spot Toner. Add to a cotton pad and swipe over your face before adding your creams. The AHA content will help to clear off any dead skin and aid in increasing the cell turnover of your skin - leading to a brighter, fresher complexion.

Lano Everywhere Multi-Cream Allover

Lano's All-Over Everywhere Multi-Cream is a dry skin saviour. Use it anywhere you have dryness for an almost instantaneous fix. This is a handbag staple for sure.

Oribe Gold Lust All Over Oil

I love a multi-purpose product. It makes for an easier beauty routine and a cleaner beauty cabinet. This truly delightful hair oil can be used on your face and body too. It's light-weight and absolutely luxurious. And because it's a three-in-one, it's a perfect product for travelling if you need to pack light.

BrowKO Brow Soap

Finally, a product that by some miracle makes brows look three times fluffier yet somehow still natural. This small tin of goodness acts as a conditioning treatment for your brows and nourishes them from the roots, whilst keeping them upright, fluffy and in place all day. For those like myself who cannot pull off the ‘brows on fleek’ look or feel strange ‘colouring in’ their brows, this is the solution. This product moulds your existing brows into the shape you want as opposed to shading them with a noticeable pigment. All the while ensuring they stay hydrated and continue to grow. Brilliant.

Guerlain Cleansing Oil

It's not secret that oil cleansers are kinder to your skin. Plus, they're actually a lot more effective at removing makeup than regular foaming cleansers. Give it a try and you'll find your skin is clearer and eyelashes are longer - since you're not aggressive rubbing them when trying to get your mascara off. This Guerlain formulation is enriched with royal jelly to help even the texture of your skin and protect it from damage.

Minenssey Superfood Facial Elixir

Superfood is the perfect term for this light face oil. It's packed full or nutrients and antioxidants. Think of it like a big green smoothie for your skin. When you're using a tonne of active ingredients and exfoliants, it's important to refeed your skin, and this facial elixir is an easy way to do it. If you're a face oil fanatic, consider this your next buy.

Revlon Skin Lights

Perfection in one skin illuminating product. No shine, just glow. Add a drop or two to your foundation for the perfect soft-focused finish, or use on top as a regular highlighter for a natural but gorgeous glow. But my favourite way to use these is to add a few drops into a body moisturiser for an all-over effect.

The Beauty Chef Collagen Inner Beauty Boost

With so many collagen products on the market, it's hard to know which one is best. While there's not hard and fast best answer, our whole team really love the The Beauty Chef's collagen. Surprisingly, it's one of the best value for money with 33 serves in a 550mL bottle for $45. It's friendly for people like me who are intolerant to FODMAPs and it has a fun blueberry flavour.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipstain

If you want a lip product with staying power, let me me introduce you to the ABH Lipstains. Use alone or as a base for gloss, whatever you prefer. These lip colours are buildable and really do last for ages. I love the shade Rosewood.

Butter London Hardwear Top Coat

It's not just your skin that suffers from UV damage. It's your nails too. This wonderful top coat offers your precious nails protection from the sun while stopping your colour from chipping.
