Dreaming of an Italian summer? Let Versace's newest fragrance take you there.
The newest beauty creation from the House is called Dylan Turquoise, a feminine fragrance that revisits the Versace Dylan collection. It's a scent designed to evoke your deepest wanderlust. A desire for far-off coastlines, azure waters and powdery white sand. So naturally the Dylan Fragrance campaign (including three scents Dylan Blue pour femme, Dylan Blue pour homme and Dylan Turquoise) is about all these things and more.
Starring models Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber, the campaign imagery is designed to look like the beach party you've been dying to attend. A gathering at golden hour, overlooking the hills and coast of a small Italian island off the coast of Sardinia. Sparkling waters, white rocks and sunlit landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for this Mediterranean dream.

The island that hosts this campaign is in fact a private one. It gave exclusive access to the Versace team for this special campaign. So this is likely one of the only times we'll be getting glimpses of the elusive and stunning piece of Italy. It's a joyful dose of escapism, certainly something we need right now.

As for the fragrance itself, Donatella Versace describes it as:
“Escaping towards faraway islands where the blue sky meets crystal waters. The Sea breeze caresses the skin waking up the senses and regenerating the soul. A fragrance reminding warm sun and summer days. Dylan Turquoise is an ode to the sensuality of the Versace woman."
It's a luminous scent, combining top notes of primofiore lemon, Italian mandarin, pink peppercorn, red berries, guava, jasmine and freesia. The base notes are amber, vibrant woods and white musk. It's a zesty, modern and youthful combination, perfect for the coming summer.

And if you're feeling like this particularly scent seems almost tailor made for the coming Australian summer season, well you should know that Australia is actually the first launch market for this unique Versace creation.
The bottle is a keepsake in itself. An elegantly curved design, in azure blue with signature Versace gold accents. The cap is embossed with the Medusa Head and engraved with the name of the fragrance. Around the shoulder of the bottle, Baroque-style letters spell out the brand name.
When filming the campaign, Versace created its own camera in order to perfectly shoot for the new fragrance. The first iteration was a small model to test the unconventional idea, but then the final camera was constructed to create fluid, fast circular movements.
