Shot down at Sydney harbour - one of Australia's most iconic travel destinations - by contributing editor Kitty Callaghan with Joanna Dias as our Rimowa muse, RUSSH explores the newest arrivals to the Personal collection, a nod to the brands long-standing commitment to product innovation and quality.
The Personal Cross-body Clutch Bag is reimagined in two new models, crafted from Rimowa's signature grooved aluminium. We first saw it in the Dior men's Summer 2020 show where the brands came together to create a limited-edition capsule of the Clutch Bag with Kim Jones, and it will now join the Personal collection as a permanent piece. With an aluminium shell and removable leather strap, the piece is timeless and functional in design, featuring two open compartments inside the clutch, a zipped pocket, and three card slots. It is available in two colour combinations: A Silver aluminium shell with contrasting Camel leather straps and interior, and a Black aluminium shell with Black leather straps and matching interior.

Two more clutches are included within the Personal collection, the Personal Sling Clutch and the Personal Hand Clutch. The Sling Clutch, takes a utilitarian approach. With the ability to wear the bag multiple ways across the body, the Sling clutch can be included in all occasions. Made in Cologne, the design features an aluminium shell with matte metallic pieces and a webbed strap emblazoned in jacquard with the coordinates of the brand’s historic home. To ensure belongings are safe, there is a secured closing system with a mechanical button that snaps shut.

The Rimowa Personal Hand Clutch is similar in design, with an aluminium shell and design features that are akin to the brands iconic suitcases, the clutch is small and compact, perfect for an evening of endless dancing without the fear your belongings will spill onto the floor with a poorly timed hip-bump. A removable leather wrist strap allows it to be easily slipped on and carried close, while the secured closing system keeps belongings safe.
