Rihanna wore a Loewe jumpsuit for her Super Bowl halftime show

Rihanna Super Bowl outfit

Rihanna's Super Bowl Halftime performance just took place, and we are quaking in our boots at what we've just witnessed. Floating in the air? Some of her best hits (save for the Pon de Replay snub)? A potential pregnancy announcement? Twitter is broken because of her, and we wouldn't have it any other way. This was her first concert in 7 years, and we need – and I cannot stress this enough – ample time to recover from her performance where she had people play football on either side of the show to bulk it up!! So neat of her. While people are making memes about poor old Drake and speculating if she just dropped the announcement of baby A$AP #2, one question remains on the RUSSH team's lips: what was Rihanna wearing at her Super Bowl Halftime Performance?

The answer is Loewe! Among other things. According to Jonathan Anderson himself, Rihanna wore a red Loewe jumpsuit and bustier by the Spanish brand. The jumpsuit, which was made out of a canvas cotton material, was unzipped to expose a shiny moulded red bustier and red turtleneck. She paired the look with red Maison Margiela X Salomon sneakers, a red lip, red nail polish, and a puffy coat by Alaïa. Imagine if she'd thrown on a pair of those Astro Boy boots?

Later in the show, as she rose into the air on a levitating clear platform, she subbed out her short Alaïa coat for a longer piece by the same brand, reminiscent of André Leon Talley's infamous red Norma Kamali blanket coat, which felt like a subtle but powerful tribute to the late fashion heavyweight.

As we continue to recover from the show, we're rounding up the best Twitter reactions from her jaw-dropping performance, here. Just in case you wanted to spend the rest of the day thinking about this moment with the rest of us. Let us savour this rare moment for as long as possible.
