A fertile spot amidst barren land, we search for our safe house. A spring of puddling water – overflowing – waiting for us to find the clearing. The sound of a soft trickle leading the way. Slick with dirt and sweat, you succumb to its welcome relief. Cover star Olivia Vinten is the salvation we speak of, an oasis all on her own.
As she tells us in our exclusive Oasis cover star interview, her safe house is not her actual home in Copenhagen but the feeling the people she holds dear gives her.
"I have a memory of my family and I visiting some relatives in the Faroe Islands, I must have been about six or seven years old. I remember this one evening my older brother and I were about to go to bed, and we started talking about the universe and aliens and at one point my brother – who was like 10 – said, 'Olivia you do know that the world is going to go under one day right? I mean like in a billion years or so but yeah eventually it is.'"

"And I looked at him and I just started crying my eyes out. My brother tried to comfort me and told me by that time I’d be dead anyway, but I just wouldn’t stop crying. I guess that was the start of understanding reality for me."
The sun is out but the air is damp. Dripping. Saturated. Stay with us a little longer, why don't you?
