An ode to an Australian summer, the Resort 2021 collection from Muse The Label is all about sunkissed moments and joyful nostalgia.
This Australian label is all about designing for our unique way of life. Humid days, hot nights and dressing for wherever our wanderlust may take us. The Resort 21 collection is a snapshot into summer life, pieces designed for and inspired by the Australian summer.
A soft feminine beauty runs through the minimalistic collection. Wrap styles paired with clean lines accentuate the female form, while bold elements like puffed sleeves add style and drama. Soft tones and girly prints collide to create sometime ultra-femme but sophisticated and simple.
The collection as a whole was designed to evoke a sense of whimsy, joy and wanderlust. The designs are an homage to the rolling green hills and crystalline waters of the Australian landscape. Pieces are crafted in draping silks, sky blues, rich rusts and vibrant chartreuse, yet they're still paired back with oatmeal tones and subtle detail in white textures.
Resort 21 Collection is the latest arc in the Muse The Label narrative. The Melbourne-based label created by mother-and-daughter duo, Sarah and Christine, is a celebration of women. Each piece is carefully crafted by women for women, and all are ethically sourced and made locally in their studio.
This largely made-to-order label is know for its evocative, feminine pieces that embrace nature. Each is designed to be timeless and cherished for many summers to come.
“We wanted to reflect classic silhouettes and details from past eras, to evoke a sense of dreaminess through high oversized collars, puffed sleeves and ornate detailing; a breath of fresh air in contemporary dressing. We work mainly, made-to-order which allows us to focus on slow design, sustainable practices crafted locally in our studio in Melbourne. Our Resort 21 collection offers a new and beautiful range of fabrications, textures and silhouettes and we hope it is loved and cherished by all women,” said Founder Sarah
The Resort 21 campaign was produced in the rolling hills of Byron Bay by photographer Olivia Katz and a local creative team. The full collection is now online.
