Lowtide premiere Elizabeth Tower

Into the dream. Like perfectly faded photographs from an old album on your parents's bookcase, Melbourne three-piece Lowtide's film clip for their latest single, Elizabeth Tower - taken from their forthcoming record Southern Mind - offers a glimpse into the archives; all muted colours and nostalgic longing.

Says director Jamieson Moore of the clip: "When I first spoke with Lowtide about making the clip for Elizabeth Tower, we knew we wanted to find a way to incorporate some archival footage of Melbourne ... after much searching and coming up with dead ends, I came across a catalogue of incredible old films made by a man called Mervyn Thomas, who I deduced was Australian from his homemade documentaries, unedited footage and abstract films set in Victoria."
