Lonely Planet has released its 2022 travel guide and here are 30 destinations to add to your list

Much to the delight of just about every living soul in Australia, travel is inching its way back onto the cards. There is indeed a light at the end of the tunnel; and as though it sensed our impending freedom, travel authority, Lonely Planet, has just released its 17th edition of the the Best in Travel series for 2022.

Naturally, we immediately leapt on the news, devouring each of its three lists for the ten best countries, cities and regions to travel to across the globe. You'll be glad to hear that each destination has been considered not just for its ability to deliver a holiday experience for the ages, but on the impact tourism has on the local people, economy and the environment.
