Introducing the new global ambassador and new face of Celine - Lisa.

The house celebrated the official announcement with a series of intimate portraits that show the energy and essence of this creative collaboration. In fact, these black and white portraits were taken by Hedi Slimane himself - Artistic and Creative director of Celine.

 

 

 

Multitalented artist Lisa has been dressed by Celine many times in the past. She's worn Celine for music projects, videos, appearances and in several magazine shoots. Lisa has worked closely with this House since Hedi Slimane joined as Creative Director in 2018. Slimane has brought his famous rebellious attitude to fashion to this historic house, and Lisa is the embodiment of this energy.

 

 

 

 

She's elegant and polished, yet a rule-breaker. Lisa has carved out her own path in fashion, creating an enviable approach to style. She'll pair thigh high boots with a sequinned jacket, but in the very next moment she's sleek and chic in simple white turtleneck - but always styled with her signature bangs. She's effortless, a fashion icon in the making and trend-setter to watch.

 

 

 

 

In the past, Celine has hosted Lisa front row at the House's Men’s and Women’s SS20 shows at Paris Fashion Week. More recently, Lisa wore a gown by Celine in Blackpink's music video for How You Like That.

 

 

 

 

"We are pleased to announce the continued collaboration of Celine with Lisa, who will represent the house as global ambassador. Lisa is a multitalented artist, widely known as a member of the globally acclaimed South Korean band Blackpink," the House said in a statement.

In addition to being a verified trend-setter, Thai-born Lisa (whose full name is Lalisa Manoban) is a singer, dancer and talented member of Blackpink. Blackpink is the biggest girl band in the world right now. This musical powerhouse has had a string of number one hits and a headlining performance at Coachella, all before the release of their debut album which is coming to us soon on October 2.

 

 

 

Blackpink will also soon feature in their very own Netflix documentary which will include personal conversations and intimate moments from the lives of these incredible performers.

This is not the first global fashion partnership for Blackpink. Australian band member Rosé Park is the global face and friend of Saint Laurent. The collaboration was announced after a set of edgy and artistic shots of Rosé against the Parisian skyline. We shared the Australian exclusive release of the full shoot earlier in the year.
