Kim Jones's talent knows no bounds. The artistic director at Dior Men, previously menswear director at Louis Vuitton, has just been announced as the new artistic director for womenswear at Fendi.

Silvia Venturini Fendi - who assumed the role after Karl Lagerfeld, Fendi's designer of 54 years, passed in 2019 - will resume focus on accessories and menswear collections.

Jones will continue his role at Dior Men - where he's been responsible for such iconic moments as this:

Both Fendi and Christian Dior - and also Louis Vuitton - are members of the luxury conglomerate LVMH.

The announcement of Jones's appointment came with a strong message of support LVMH Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault. "Kim Jones is a great talent and since joining, he has continuously proven his ability to adapt to the codes and heritage of the LVMH houses while revisiting them with great modernity."

Silvia Venturini Fendi also welcomed Jones, who, she said, "I am bound to by deep respect and friendship. I am looking forward to [taking] the Fendi universe to the next level with him."

"Working across two such prestigious houses is a true honour as a designer," said Jones. "And to be able to join the house of Fendi as well as continuing my work at Dior Men's is a huge privilege."
