Introducing the new face of Chanel’s Coco Neige, Jennie

By now, it's no secret that the members of BLACKPINK are the darlings of the fashion world. Jisoo has brought her dynamism to Dior, Rosé is the edgy face of Saint Laurent, Lisa elegantly collaborates with Celine and of course Jennie has been a longtime friend of Chanel.

But now, we're seeing a new side to her connection with the historic fashion Maison. Chanel has just announced that Jennie is the new global face of Coco Neige, the House's collection designed for winter sports. Previous faces of this iconic line have included Margot Robbie - but now the torch has been passed over to celebrate a new and rebellious direction for Coco Neige.

Jennie brings her characteristic punk-rock beauty to the 2021/22 campaign, shot by Dutch photography duo Inez & Vinoodh. Styled in a fuchsia, track two-piece emboldened with printed motifs, Jennie lends her edge, attitude and impeccable sense of style to highlight the both the playful and functional aspects of this cult-favourite line.

A collection dedicated to snow, ski and sports, Jennie said of the collection: "I love to go out in the snow, doing winter sports. I really like how snow just makes you feel. Wearing these clothes makes me feel like I’m ready to ski tomorrow.”

While this is a new and exciting side to this collaborative partnership, Jennie has been a longtime Chanel ambassador, first pairing with the Maison in 2017. Jennie even performed at the opening of the Chanel flagship store in Seoul in 2019. Now, with this new campaign she continues to solidify her strong links with Chanel: “Just hearing about being able to join the Coco Neige collection was like a dream!” she revealed during the shoot.

We can't wait to see what's next from this iconic fashion partnership, but in the meantime you can discover the Coco Neige 2021/22 collection campaign from September 28th on chanel.com.
