With every new week that comes, we wait in heavy anticipation for more BLACKPINK news to fill our weary hearts; because, let's be honest, these K-Pop megastars are one of the few things bringing us joy right now. Last week, we were treated to never-before-seen images of style icon Lisa, sporting Celine's latest 'it' bag, the Triomphe; and before that, the news of Rosé's much-awaited debut solo album's confirmed release date. Naturally, we've spent the last week watching the music video for her track, On The Ground, on repeat; and just when we thought things couldn't get any better, BLACKPINK star Rosé has announced the launch of her own YouTube channel.

The New Zealand born, Australian-raised star joins her fellow supergroup members Lisa and Jennie on the video platform; marking the third BLACKPINK artist to begin their own solo channel. News of her latest venture broke just last Thursday, and views on her first official video have already four million – and counting. Her YouTube channel, which is titled simply, ROSÉ, only features one, five-minute-long video so far. The interview-style video opens with touching, archival footage from the musician's childhood.

Watch her first YouTube video below.

Throughout the video, Rosé speaks passionately about what her song On The Ground represents, as well as touching on her journey growing up as a normal kid in New Zealand to transitioning to K-Pop megastar. Speaking on her childhood, she shares, “I was born in New Zealand so I needed an English name. My parents apparently bought a name book. I think it was my dad who looked through it." This honest and transparent conversation is what we expect from Rosé's coming videos; with plenty more insight into her early years to come, we hope.

In addition to launching her first YouTube channel, it's been a significant week for BLACKPINK star Rosé. The singer has officially broken the long-standing record for most YouTube views in 24 hours by a K-Pop star; for her On The Ground film clip. Currently totalling an incredible 106 million views, Rosé beat PSY's 2012 record of 36 million by earning 41.6 million in the first 24 hours.

In this moment, there's no stopping this K-Pop icon.
