All the good boys go to Cartier heaven, and as of this morning, we officially have a new Australian star to add to the list of the Maison's ambassadors. That's right, Jacob Elordi has been confirmed as the newest Cartier ambassador – an honour that is very rarely bestowed but feels undoubtedly fitting for one of Hollywood's leading stars.
We'd like to say we're surprised, but we've been keeping an eye on his Cartier Tank rotation for some time – one of the Maison's iconic pieces that Elordi often wears with the dial facing towards him. He is a budding style icon, after all. The news was officially confirmed in Paris overnight, where Elordi – surrounded and celebrated by a room of some of fashion and entertainment's biggest stars, from Charli xcx, to Chris Briney, Luca Guadagnino, Role Model and Alex Consani – came together to mark the occasion.

Rumours first started swirling around a potential relationship between the actor and French Maison when Elordi was spotted donning a Tank Louis Cartier throughout the Venice Film Festival and specifically, on the evening of the Frankenstein premiere. In this new role, he joins the likes of Zoe Saldaña and Anna Sawai as one of the Maison's leading faces.
Throughout his career, Elordi has quietly become fashion’s favourite disruptor. One minute he’s in slouchy hoodies, the next he’s sparking a handbag renaissance with Bottega’s Andiamo slung over his 6’5 frame. Cartier, naturally, followed – its clean-lined watches and glittering accents sitting on his wrist like they were always meant to be there. But what makes Elordi’s style evolution magnetic isn’t just the luxury; it’s the irreverence. He wears it all with the kind of nonchalance that turns classics into cult, and we have no doubt he'll continue to bring this same energy to one of his most pivotal partnerships yet. We can't wait to see what happens next – and hopefully, for a glimpse at Elordi in his first Cartier campaign, soon.
