One of your favourite cult-swimwear brands has just relaunched ‘that’ iconic ‘Pretty Woman’ dress

Hunza G Pretty Woman

"A dress is only as good as the woman who wears it." It's a saying we have come to know well. A necessary reminder that it's not the clothes that make the man. While this unspoken sentiment is generally seen as bible; as with most fashion advice, there's always an exception to the rule. A time, when the ensemble has done just as much of the work. It's impossible of course, not to mention Julia Robert's famed Pretty Woman Hunza G dress. Now, three decades on, the brand behind the creation is relaunching the unforgettable dress.

For many of us, the brand Hunza G has become synonymous with covetable swimwear and sun-bathed vacations. However, what isn't common knowledge is that the brand first made its mark when it appeared in the cult-classic film. If you need a quick refresher on which dress we're talking about, think white crop, tie-dye blue skirt; joined at the waste by a single metal hoop.

Yes, that dress.

Aptly named the Hunza dress, Pretty Woman launched the creation to international and cross-generational fame, and Hunza G are ready to bring it back. As part of the brand's SS21 ready-to-wear collection, under the guidance of now creative director Georgiana Huddart; the Pretty Woman dress has been launched alongside a slew of other covetable pieces including the tank dress and cycling shorts. All in Hunza G's signature ribbed fabric, of course.

If you're in love with the style but are in search of a different colour, you'll be pleased to know that the dress has been made available in three unique colourways; the famous blue and white, a vibrant purple, and a black and white variant for the classics among us. Looking to take your Vivien Ward moment one step further? The iconic design has also been made into a one-piece swimsuit.
