We know, you're at home all the time and can't stand your interiors anymore. Same. While barely anyone is in the position to undertake home renovations on their one-bedroom rental apartments, small updates to your space can bring unprecedented joy in these unprecedented times. Thankfully, Danish design house HAY has released its Spring 2021 collection of home accessories, and we can assure you, they are both joyful and functional.

The new collection features a range of very danish homewares items for the living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

For the kitchen, colourful accessories like delicate blown glass spoons, colourful straws and borosilicate cups are offered as charming adornments to consume food and beverages, alongside softly swirled enamel plates and bowls, practical solid round and square chopping boards and sleek kettles. For extra joy, the collection extends to cleaning, with woven striped dishcloths and a sponge in the shape of a smiley face.

For living, the PC Portable Lamp — available in matte mono shades and multi-colour combinations — offers a cozy lighting setup for any table setting. The Stripes and Stripes Rugs have arrived in contrasting colours with fringed edges, alongside ornate glass candleholders in varying colours and beaded baskets for nick-nacks.

For the bathroom, store the essentials in the Candy Wash Bag, a striped, rectangular vanity bag made of recycled polypropylene. General accessories take form in hand-beaded crossbody sling bags for the iPhone, and reusable water bottles big enough to keep you going from place-to-place. If you're not a bag person, the cane snap keyring is perfect for clipping your keys to your person and hitting the road.
