Purveyor of intoxicating scents, Glasshouse Fragrances has been creating smells that tell a story for over 15 years. But now, it's time for the next chapter, and a step beyond the home fragrance and treasured bath and body products. The brands has made a much awaited step into the world of luxury Eau De Parfum.
Glasshouse Fragrances made a name for itself in the way that it truly understand the power of scent. Smell is our most powerful trigger of memory. It's a sense that can illicit nostalgia, evoke vivid images and even transport us half way around the world to places not long forgotten. The brand's signature home fragrances have been showing this for years.
The salty scent of the Lost in Amalfi candle does indeed take you beachside in Positano, with the herby notes of thyme and tarragon conjuring visions of wafting air from restaurant Chez Black. Then there's The Hamptons scented range, with notes of woody teak that tell the story of weatherboard beach homes. And Tango in Barcelona tells us of springtime in Spain where the fruity blossoms of Park Güell bloom with abandon and notes of musk offer a glimpse inside the churches of the Gothic Quarter.
Now, we're witnessing the newest story Glasshouse Fragrances has to tell. In honour of 15 years of Glasshouse, we have four full-sized Eau de Parfums that build on some of the brands most loved olfactory stories. Introducing Kyoto in Bloom, Forever Florence, Midnight in Milan, and A Tahaa Affair Devotion.
In bottles designed by the legendary Pierre Dinand, and in collaboration with four of the world’s leading perfumers, Glasshouse Fragrances created these four complex scents to help transport us to the exotic locales of the world.
“I have always believed that through scent, we have the power to transport ourselves to anywhere we want to be. When I started Glasshouse Fragrances in 2006, I set out to create the world’s best fragrance brand. I started with candles, blending scents and wax in my kitchen, and over the years, we worked to expand to a range of personal care products, and in 2020 we finally launched a range of 14mL Eau de parfums. In 2021, after much anticipation and by popular demand, we will finally launch full-sized bottles. Completing the dream, I have always had,” said Glasshouse Fragrances founder Nicole Eckels.
