Innovative Scandinavian brand GANNI is expanding its offerings after launching their genderless collection, SOFTWARE. The Copenhagen-based label designed the collection with the intention of offering a considered range of gender neutral wardrobe staples, pairing together with ease.
SOFTWARE consists of the brand’s signature leisure and rainwear, which can be worn by all genders. The collection also heralds the arrival of three new styles comprising of a crewneck, a t-shirt, and matching trousers specifically designed to be genderless. Alongside the new additions, SOFTWARE also features a maxi t-shirt dress with ruched detailing and hooded jumpers. The range is available from size EU32 to EU 44 with matching sets are offered in six colourways ranging from Sweet Lilac to Azure Blue.
Known for their consciousness towards sustainable and ethical processes, the genderless GANNI SOFTWARE collection is one of the most responsible products currently on offer from the brand. The collection exclusives employs certified-responsible fabrics like Organic Cotton, Recycled Polyamide and TencelTM Lyocell and is completely traceable through stages one to four of the supply chain.
Committed to offering more inclusive garments, Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup said in a statement that seeing a broad mixture of people wearing GANNI garments is always heartening to see.
“I always get super inspired seeing different people wear our clothes; #GANNIGirls is a state of mind, not a fixed persona or identity,” shared Reffstrup. “It’s plural for a reason. Having as many people as possible feel included in what we do has always been the goal. Everyone is welcome.”
The brand last year announced 25 per cent of main collections shown throughout 2022 will be available in extended sizing across shoes, swimwear and ready-to-wear, reinforcing the idea of accessibility and inclusion that is tied to the ethos of the brand.
