5 moments

It was a big week in fashion this week with Resort 22 and Autumn/Winter 2021 coming up ahead. Amidst all the post-AAFW chaos, once again at RUSSH, we bring you five favourite fashion moments from the week just spent.

Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2021 Collection

Alexander Mcqueen

"It feels like now is a time for healing, for breathing new life, for exploring echoes from the past to enrich our future," creative director Sarah Burton.

Alexander McQueen's Autumn/Winter 2021 womenswear collection launched this week, a return to the precious, meaningful and the beautiful. Anemones, an ephemeral flower, is made permanent in cloth through vivid prints, presenting a collection both hauntingly radiant and strong.

Lucy Folk's New Collection UTOPIA

Lucy Folk

Likened to an overgrown garden and deeply set with earth tones embellished in rainbow, Lucy Folk release its new collection UTOPIA. An equally ephemeral look book starring model Lilli Sumner set out in a utopian garden, the collection comprises of both apparel and jewellery, one that lives and constantly evolves in otherworldly fantasy.

Tory Burch Resort 22 Collection

Tory Burch

Tory Burch unveiled Resort 22, along with its announcement that the collection will be available November 2021.

“Our collection is a celebration of fantasy, conveying a renewed sense of hope, escape and, quite simply, what we want to wear when we can go out again. Tulle, velvet, satin and Lurex with casual silhouettes removes any pretension or notion that something should only be worn at a certain time or in a certain way," - Tory Burch.

Silver metallics, taffeta and long sleeve dresses, 90's shapes were reimagined for times that lay ahead. A collection that remains optimistic and hopeful paired with accessories equally as bold, Tory Burch Resort 22 is one that moves us a few steps ahead.

Zimmermann Resort 22 Collection

Zimmermann

Zimmermann presents The Postcard, its highly anticipated Resort 22 collection - one reminiscent of travel and postcard memories, romantic and nostalgic in all its essence. Crocheted raffia, pajama sets and hand painted florals took centre stage, also a tribute to the artworks of James Northfield and his iconic travel campaign posters from the 1950's. The show streamed live last night, however the experience is still available on view on @zimmermann or through zimmermannwear.com.
