Bottega Veneta celebrates Lunar New Year

fashion moments

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, Bottega Veneta aligns with a local occasion to share a universal message on the importance of time, and time spent with the people and places we hold dearly. For the brand, time is the ultimate luxury.

Inspired by the emotion and anticipation of journeying home to rejoin family and friends, a New Year message from Bottega Veneta manifests in a short film, a physical installation, and a personalisable WeChat e-card, available to all.

Loewe debuts new menswear campaign by David Sims

fashion moments

The new LOEWE SS23 men's campaign shot by David Sims explores a liminal zone between the staged and the introspective, human personality, and crafted items. Drawing suspended, slightly puzzling scenarios that entice and engage the gaze of the viewer, the campaign is a quest for meaning that luxuriates over the details.

The image series comprises both portrait-like and still life compositions, and openly borrowing from and making references to the work of British still life and portrait painter William Nicholson (1872-1949) and the oeuvre of American photographer George Platt Lynes (1907-1955).

Although clear, the references are also mixed, blurred, stirred, following creative director Jonathan Anderson’s penchant for unexpected associations. Protagonists of the images are LOEWE ambassadors Josh O'Connor and Stéphane Bak, just as much as the Amazona 15, the Puzzle and the Fold Shopper are central to the still life compositions: subjects that draw in, activating a narrative that’s hidden in the shadows and what’s not immediately apparent.

Sarah & Sebastian launches suspense collection

fashion moments

The Suspense collection celebrates Sarah & Sebastian’s fundamental design ethos. Championing elevated, classic
designs with structured contours, pieces are marked by a suspense-style setting unique to the brand, giving the illusion of floating stones.

Styles are centred around five signature diamond cuts - round, marquise, oval, pear and emerald. With accents of vivid green emeralds each stone is held effortlessly in the balance between sleek architectural shapes.

The Upside launches Volly collection

A collaboration born from nostalgic memories of the classic and original tennis shoe, The Upside has collaborated with iconic Australian brand Volly on the perfect tennis shoes, in addition to a tennis-themed capsule to celebrate the meeting of two iconic sportswear brands.

The collection features moisture-wicking performance pieces in cotton pique, four-way stretch peached fabrics in high-waisted skorts and dresses, and care-free, joyful, flouncy pleats, in addition to a reimagining of the iconic silhouette with the signature three-stripe detail bleeding throughout the collection.

Shona Joy debuts AW23 collection

Shona Joy debuts their Autumn 23 Collection, MAMOUNIA, which was shot in, and inspired by, the city of Morocco.

The collection, steeped in nostalgia is an ode to the brilliant days of 1960’s Marrakesh, drawing on the alluring freedom, seductive simplicity, and vibrant landscape for inspiration.
