Melbourne-based womenswear designer and RUSSH favourite, E Nolan​ has teamed up with local luxury bed linen brand ​Scottie Store​ to create a capsule collection of dreamy ‘Sleeping Suits’.

Designed to take you from bed to beach and beyond, the limited-edition range offers four styles all made in 100% French flax linen. Featuring a painter’s shirt, boxer short and a unisex bowler shirt and linen short.

 

 

The collaboration capsule collection was born out of Emily Nolan (founder of E Nolan) and Gemma Leslie’s (co-founder Scottie Store) shared experience of living through Australia’s most restrictive COVID-19 lockdown periods in Melbourne.

“When Covid first made itself felt, I started to think about how to translate the idea of feeling better while living and working from home. I made myself a ‘Sleeping Suit’ from end-of-roll cotton and offered them to me clients as a made-to-order item. Gemma was my first customer for the product,” says Nolan.

 

 

E Nolan’s timeless designs celebrate personalities and craftsmanship within the suiting world, while Scottie Store’s aesthetic is classic yet strong. This combination from the duo has manifested into the creation of a capsule collection that echoes a relaxed, easy-going and luxuriously premium mood. Featuring unstructured cuts, tailored details and repurposed mother-of-pearl buttons to ensure the collection is just as suitable to wear out on the town as it is lounging at home.

Gemma explains that the range is designed to showcase the best of French flax linen saying, “Right now, we are all seeking comfort and ease from our clothes and that will only become more so as we move into the warmer months. Our 100 percent French flax linen is a natural fibre that’s kind on the environment as well as your skin, and crafted into these tailored but loose cuts it’s perfect for re-emerging out of our shells.”

 

 

A bond over a mutual love for fashion, interiors and the design world, Emily and Gemma joined forces to create a collection that is comfortable and luxurious, while providing that little boost of fun we all so desperately need right now.
