Ever since the music and magic of Dua Lipa first met our ears in 2017, her anthemic tune New Rules taking over hearts and airways for months, the singer has proven herself to be more than just pop star, but also as someone with considerable style; a fashionable force to be reckoned with.
Having since released three albums, made her acting debut in films like the Barbie movie, launched her own skincare line (with the help of Augustinus Bader), and somehow found time for frequent envy-inducing getaways in between it all, she's been slowly but surely reinforcing her status as a bonafide superstar. Her stellar wardrobe choices, made with the help of her long-time stylist Lorenzo Posocco, have also helped to cement her stylish reputation, now counting 'fashion designer' as one of her titles, post-debut of her ‘La Vacanza’ collection in the French Riviera with Donatella Versace back in 2023.
Lipa has always had a soft spot for the Italian fashion House and its namesake designer, donning custom Versace atelier pieces to the 2019 Met Gala and a myriad of award shows. She also counts French fashion mogul Simon Porte Jacquemus as a close friend – so close that she was in attendance at the designer's wedding to Marco Maestri in the South of France, and is a frequent fixture in the front row of shows by his namesake brand.
Lipa's also been spotted regularly in brands like Vivienne Westwood, Diesel, Celine, Saint Laurent, and former Australian label Dion Lee. Most recently, however, a new designer may have swept to the top spot on the list of Lipa's favourites. This May, the singer opted for an understated skirt suit by none other than Schiaparelli in her long-awaited wedding to boyfriend Callum Turner. The pair were spotted hand-in-hand exiting a courthouse in London, with just a handful of family members present. Given the duo's penchant for a tropical getaway, we can't help but wonder if this is just a prelude to a bigger wedding bash on a remote island somewhere. And of course, that only leaves our minds swirling with further wedding dress options...
Whether she's throwing together a casual look for a tropical vacation, curating her on-stage outfits , adorned in custom couture for the red carpet, or indeed walking down the aisle, Lipa's inherent sense of style always shines through.
