Dior Maison is summoning spooky season with its Halloween tableware collection

Now that Halloween is officially back on the cards for those of us in Sydney and Melbourne, it's time to go big! We mean it. Forget about Zoom, it's time to dust off your rolodex and pull out the fake blood. And for those who going big, translates to a Halloween dinner party set with expensive designer tableware, then Dior Maison have just the ticket for you.

The French fashion house is summoning in the spooky season with a witchy crockery collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. What does the collection include? There's water goblets, sleek black-handled cutlery and candlestick holders. Also on offer are monochromatic serving platters and full-scale dinner plates made from Limoges porcelain - a city in France with a long history of crafting highly decorative pieces fit for a king, or in this case the devil himself.

Each dish is decorated with fine line drawings of tarot motifs by Italian artist Pietro Ruffo; revealing a darker but nonetheless chic side to Dior Maison. Also included in the display are glazed life-like ceramic pumpkins, crafted by Jean Roger, that could house candy, a small black cat - whatever tickles your fancy really.
