The takeover of the limited-edition Dior Air Jordan 1 High OG

This is the first ever collaboration between the iconic Jordan Brand and luxury French Maison Dior.

The OG shoe was originally created for NBA star and the biggest sporting icon of the world, Michael Jordan in 1985. The Air Jordan 1 sneaker is a modern classic and celebrates a major milestone this year for its 35thanniversary. To coincide with this, Dior and the Jordan Brand joined forces to create a new, limited-edition Air Jordan 1 High OG.

“I love mixing together different worlds, different ideas - Jordan Brand and Dior are both emblematic of absolute excellence in their fields. To bring them together in this special collaboration is to propose something exciting and truly new.”  Kim Jones, Artistic Director of Dior men’s collections.

The design of the collaboration shoe incorporates both the timeless appeal of the icon and Dior’s signature style. Made in Italy from the finest calf leather and edge painted in the shade quintessentially known as Dior grey. The shoe also features words “AIR DIOR” along with the iconic Jumpman Wings logo and The Nike Swoosh filled out in the Dior Oblique motif. An embodiment of the spirit of both leading brands.

The Air Dior capsule collection doesn’t stop at the Air Jordan’s, a selection of ready-to-wear and accessories were also designed in collaboration with Dior and the Jordan Brand. A special shoot starring rapper Travis Scott as the face completes the original collaboration with the luxury Maison and the basketball brand.
