David Lynch is heading to New York, and he’s taking his immersive two-day music, art, film, and creativity festival with him. Curated by the esoteric filmmaker himself, the festival promises performances by Animal Collective, Angel Olsen, and Jim James (My Morning Jacket); and an art exhibition showcasing work by Lynch, American photographer William Eggleston, Irish filmmaker and artist David O’Reilly, plus Sandro Miller’s Psychogenic Fugue featuring John Malkovich photographed as iconic David Lynch characters. Additionally, there be a series of talks, including a screening of Blue Velvet with actress Isabella Rossellini, and meditation experiences led David Lynch Foundation director Bob Roth. The Festival of Disruption runs May 19 to 20 at Brooklyn Steel, New York.
