In partnership with Champion
Versatility is one of the most important things when shopping for athletic wear these days. Not only do products need to be available in a range of sizes to work for all kinds of bodies, but it can also, at times, feel as though there is simply no time to overhaul your outfit post workout for whatever else you have planned for the day. This is where Champion's newly released Flex collection comes in, offering a new capsule that focusses on both comfort and style.
It's an ultra-flexible athleisure range that champions (see what we did there?) versatility by marrying fashion and function without feeling as though style is the last thought. Flex, crafted to contour with its seamless stretch, offers a variety of separates that can be mixed and matched with existing wardrobes, taking its wearer from their workout to their day-to-day, effortlessly.
When it comes to fabrication, Champion are leading the way with innovative, moisture-wicking fabrics, squat-friendly knit utilising recycled polyester yarn, and supportive yet flexible designs, while offering a sense of style with a range of colours – from simple blacks to baby pink, rust, and slate grey – and styles to choose from, like an adjustable bralette, long and short sleeved crop tops, leggings and bike shorts for a complete look.
In a new campaign video directed by Yasmin Suteja, the collection is seen in-situ, on a range of women with active lifestyles, doing daily activities like Pilates, skateboarding, hopping on the train, dancing, and doing gymnastics. While all looks can be worn as sets, the pieces are styled in the way that we at RUSSH are especially fond of, where crops from the Flex collection are paired with jeans or cargo shorts and a cardigan for an off-duty look, or white tank tops (the ultimate off-duty favourite) are styled back with the Flex bike shorts for an ultra flexible approach.
You can explore the entire Flex collection via the Champion website, here, and watch the full campaign video, directed by Suteja, below.
