The Council of Fashion Designers of America’s (CFDA for short) Fashion Awards, one of the most important nights in the American fashion calendar, has arrived again.  Since its first iteration in 1981, the CFDA Fashion Awards have celebrated the most exciting talents and moments in American design, and this year is no exception, honouring names that are at the forefront of the fashion industry with their forward thinking, innovation, and commitment to the future of fashion.

Amongst the nominees, are names like Catherine Holstein of Khaite, Gabriela Hearst, Emily Bode, Aurora James of Brother Vellies, Christopher John Rogers, Law Roach and even Kim Kardashian.

“The 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards will celebrate, not just honour, American fashion’s best and brightest talents, but also the CFDA’s 60th anniversary milestone,” CFDA CEO Steven Kolb said. “This year’s nominees reflect the renewed excitement around American fashion generated by designers who are redefining the future of our industry. The CFDA thanks Amazon Fashion for its support of the awards.”
