Melbourne’s Beyond The City festival has released an impressive lineup – find it here

As restrictions melt away across Australia, a number of music festivals have crept up out of the woodwork just in time for the summer ahead. Which is convenient, as there's no way we'd rather spend our new found sense of freedom than in the middle of a mosh pit, dancing, singing and swaying to our favourite Aussie musicians. The newest festival to find its way on our summer schedule is Beyond the City, the metro edition of Beyond the Valley.

After eighteen months of disruptions to live music, resulting in the #VaxTheNation campaign, Beyond the City will span the two day period leading up to New Years Eve, giving our festival starved brains the stimulation they desire. As the urban iteration of Beyond the Valley, this new festival will take place in Melbourne at Sidney Myer Music Bowl and King Domain Parklands for its inaugural year.

Expect performances by Hayden James, Cosmo's Midnight, Lime Cordiale plus many more. Also, one dollar of each ticket sold will be directly funnelled into AIME, an organisation dedicated to closing the educational outcome gap of First Nations students in Australia.
