Australian fashion label, Albus Lumen have released their newest mindful collaboration: an artisanal range of soaps and candles. 

Available through the brands online store and their by-appointment only Bondi concept store the candles are made using both Australian organic beeswax and sustainable palm wax. Blended with essential oils the candles “are considered excellent for both mental and physical equilibrium and healing,” the brand advised via their social media account. 

There are two candles to choose from. Bougie Bergamot blends bergamot and palmarosa essential oils for a subtle scent. The blend is “calming yet uplifting, great for anxiety and nervous tension.” The Bougie Geranium candle mixes rose geranium and clary sage essential oils. Resulting in a scent that regulates “the levels of sebum on the skin and eases anxiety, stress, insomnia and depression.” By using no packaging or vessels the candles are environmentally focused and handmade in Australia. 

 

The perfect gift, the brand has created a range of three soaps. Each soap is formulated on a base of ultra-nourishing shea butter and olive oil. The perfect antidote to harsh winter weather, and hot showers. From there you can choose an option best suited to your skin and what your senses crave. Savon Le Blanc matches the candle range in its use of bergamot and palmarosa essential oils and blends together MCT oil and hemp oil to nourish the skin. If your skin craves more of a cleanse, the Savon Le Nue uses a gentle nude french clay to eliminate impurities from the skin. Or if Le Noire is more your style than activated charcoal helps draw toxins from the skin and scented with rose geranium essential oil it makes the perfect shower accompaniment.
