Card games and couture collide: ‘We’re Not Really Strangers’ and Valentino launch exclusive card game

Even if you're not a devoted follower of the cult-Instagram account, We're Not Really Strangers, you are sure to have seen its thought-provoking, meaningful, conversation-starting card game on your feed at some point. Created by model and photographer Koreen Odiney in 2018, the card's signature and distinctive red and white motif has become synonymous with fostering new ways of developing thoughtful communication. Now, the card game of our generation is merging with the world of couture, announcing a We're Not Really Strangers and Valentino collaboration.

Over the past week, Maison Valentino has rolled out the partnership through a series of Instagram posts, sharing images of #WNRSxValentino installations. The collaboration adds to the We're Not Really Strangers existing sets, including the “Breakup Edition,” Self-Reflection Kit,” “Relationship Expansion Pack,” “Honest Dating Expansion Pack” and “WNRS x Red Table Talk Expansion Pack.” For this exclusive edition, the duo have championed and reflected "the shared values of both brands: Empathy, individuality, and positivity."

The 25-card deck comes equipped with questions that focus on perception, connection and reflection; encouraging the participants to engage in an eye-opening, honest conversation. Designed in a burgundy hue and complete with all the WNRS x Valentino touches, not only is this one of the most introspective card games on the market, it's also one of the chicest. Unlike the many other board and card games in our collection, this one will be taking centre stage on our mantlepiece and coffee table, rather than staying hidden in the cupboard under the stairs.
