The length of a day: Victoria Zschommler launches her new exhibition

Playing on the eeriness of the transition from morning to night, photographer Victoria Zschommler's new still life exhibition, About A Day (Diurnal Rhythms), juxtaposes the velvet coolness of daybreak to the white heat of midday, and the calming colours of twilight.

In partnership with Melbourne florist, Lottie Philips, and her sparse yet emotive floral arrangements, Zschommler’s series of vivid, visceral works track the journey of organic matter and movements throughout the course of the day.

This minimalistic play on changing states and aesthetics opens November 22-29 at Melbourne's At The Above concept space. Catch a glimpse at what to expect below.
