Paris Fashion Week returns from September 29 to October 7, and the Spring/Summer 2026 season is shaping up to be one of the most pivotal in recent memory — not just for what’s on the runway, but for who’s behind it. After a year of significant change, a wave of new creative directors are redefining the narrative with fresh energy at some of the biggest Houses, with their debut collections slated for unveiling this September.

Matthieu Blazy at Chanel

One of the most anticipated debuts of the season belongs to Matthieu Blazy, who will show his first CHANEL ready-to-wear collection on October 6 at 8 p.m. local time. After a widely admired run at Bottega Veneta, Blazy brings his nuanced eye to a House defined by tradition.

Jonathan Anderson at Dior Women’s

On October 1 at 2:30 p.m., Jonathan Anderson will present his first women’s collection for Dior. We've had a taste of what's to come with his recent installation at Dior Men's, though we're still yet to see fully how his blend of conceptual sharpness and forward-thinking design could reshape the House’s feminine identity.

Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga

Following his exit from Valentino earlier this year, Pierpaolo Piccioli will take on his first Balenciaga collection on October 4 at 8 p.m. It’s a moment of major redefinition, with Piccioli’s poetic romanticism set to merge with the more otherworldly edge championed by Demna during his tenure at the House.

Glenn Martens at Maison Margiela

After debuting a lauded couture collection for Margiela earlier this year, Glenn Martens returns on October 4 at 12pm with his first ready-to-wear offering for the house. We're eager to see Martens once agian speak fluently in the desconstructed, unpredictable language of Margiela.

Jack McCollough & Lazaro Hernandez at Loewe

Proenza Schouler founders Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez will show their first collection for Loewe on October 3 at 11:30 a.m. It’s a big shift for the Spanish label after Jonathan Anderson’s cerebral run, but one that could broaden Loewe’s global appeal.

Miguel Castro Freitas at Mugler

Freitas makes his Mugler debut on October 2 at noon. He was most recently the creative director of Sportmax, but has also spent years at Dior, Dries Van Noten, and Saint Laurent.  His appointment suggests a future-forward take on Mugler’s daring legacy, and one that we are eager to see.

Duran Lantink at Jean Paul Gaultier

Jean Paul Gaultier is back on the ready-to-wear schedule for the first time in over a decade, with Dutch designer Duran Lantink at the helm. His debut will take place on October 5 at 4:30 p.m., and it promises to channel Gaultier’s subversive spirit through the lens of Lantink’s own radical thinking.
