Now Pangaia have delved into another groundbreaking venture, this time in the world of textile engineering and science, proudly launching a new capsule collection in collaboration with Graviky Labs and AIR-INK ®, a brand of ink that fashions repurposed air pollution into printing ink for garments. The inks by themselves speak volumes. Through using specific technology, Graviky Labs capture and clean the particulate matter PM 2.5 - an aspect of air pollution that is referred to as the most harmful for human health and global warming - diverting the air pollution particles into different grades of pigmented inks. Innovation and problem solving go hand in hand as the inks deliver a solution in offering safe water based printing inks as well as answers in repurposing polluting particles from the air we breathe into new circular cycles of sustainability.

In celebration of the capsule collection and its successes in garment innovation, Pangaia release an a visual series, Just Like Ink by Jenke Ahmed Tailly starring model and philanthropist Naomi Campbell and Nigerian musician Keziah Jones.

"When I started working on the campaign concept, I thought about the amazing transformation process behind AIR-INK® and how carbon emissions are technically transformed into ink. Just like Ink is a name I chose and it was inspired by a verse of Maya Angelou powerful poem Still I Rise. Just like moons and like suns, with the certainty of tides, just like hopes springing high, Still I’ll Rise," says Jenke Ahmed Tailly.
