In partnership with Pandora
This week, Rainbow Studios became the backdrop for an evening of connection and glamour, as we convened for an intimate dinner with Pandora and actor and entrepreneur Maddison Brown. The occasion was set to mark two milestones: the launch of Pandora’s new Pandora Talisman collection, and Maddison’s appointment as the jeweller's first-ever Australia/New Zealand ambassador.
The evening reflected the ethos of the Pandora Talisman collection itself – symbolic, personal and deeply connected to identity. Guests were invited to explore their own modern-day talismans, not only through conversation, but also through jewellery hand-selected for them by Maddison herself. Each attendee received a piece that mirrored their values or energy, a gesture that imbued the night with sense of individuality.

The table was set for a curated group of creative minds across fashion, art and culture. Alongside Maddison, guests included Petra Mackova, Ashleigh Hyunh, Billie Jean Reed, Martina Calvi, Grace Holland, Jai Kaldor, Hannah Juneva, Annabel Wolfe, Phoebe Wolfe, Helena Vestergaard, Indira Viswanthan, Roxie Mohebbi and Chesca Athas. The atmosphere was warm and celebratory, underscored by the sense of community that emerges when like-minded individuals gather around a shared idea – in this case, jewellery as a form of personal storytelling.
The Pandora Talisman collection itself made a striking debut. Inspired by ancient coins, the pieces reimagine timeless symbols – hearts, moons, stars and arrows. Engraved with Latin inscriptions such as amor vincit omnia (“love conquers all”) and per aspera ad astra (“through hardships to the stars”), each design serves as both adornment and reminder.

Crafted in sterling silver, 14k gold plating and mixed metals, the Pandora Talisman reflect the jeweller’s modern vision: imperfect textures, layered storytelling, and jewellery that resonates as much emotionally as aesthetically.
Maddison embodied the mood of the evening in a sleek Christopher Esber ensemble, hosting guests over a candle-lit table in the white-washed interiors of Rainbow Studios. Open, light-filled and the perfect backdrop for the dinner, it was the perfect setting for a couple of film snaps through the lens of our playful INSTAX instant cameras too.
Over a menu designed with the same sense of thought and creativity, shared plates and seasonal dishes were downed with delight.

At its heart, the evening was about connection: between guests, between symbols and self, and between Pandora’s global story and Maddison’s uniquely Australian voice.
By gifting each attendee a piece chosen with intention, each piece of jewellery was transfigured into a token of recognition — an acknowledgment of individuality and identity. A reminder to let jewellery be a mirror of who we are.
