Kaia Gerber is a manicurist with a modelling dream in the new ‘Palm Royale’ preview

If you're of highly saturated cinema, the California-set episodes of Mad Men, or films like Saltburn or about underdogs stealthing their way into elite social circles – then you'll probably want to sink your teeth into the new AppleTV+ new mini-series Palm Royale, set to be released later next month.

The comedy series is loosely based on a 2018 novel set in the late 60s in Palm Beach, Florida, and already has a trailer and set photos to feast your eyes on. It's a fairly Slim Aarons-worthy set, so we're excited to see if the show's storyline lives up to its stylish visual aesthetic.

In addition to Wiig, the show has a pretty impressive ensemble cast list – including Laura Dern and Allison Janney (who's set to play the Queen Bee of the country club). Supermodel offspring Kaia Gerber is also stepping into yet another acting role after her role in Emma Seligman's Bottoms last year, slated to play a Palm Beach manicurist.

Other names attached to the project include Ricky Martin (love this), Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn and Julia Duffy. We'll also see Bruce Dern and Carol Burnett guest starring in the series.
