At long last Milk Makeup is finally coming to Australia

Milk Makeup is one of those brands that has been cult almost from the moment it launched.

The 100% vegan brand was a go-to for bold colours, double-duty products and unique looks before the mainstream caught on. The only problem, it's never been available in Australia, until now.

For a long time, Australian Milk Makeup fans like myself have had to ask overseas relatives for care pack, stock up when taking an American holiday or try and trick the Urban Outfitters website to ship it to you via freight forwarding - although the latter never seemed to work for me.

But now, at long last, Milk Makeup is arriving in Australia - and New Zealand too. This brand will be hitting the Sephora online store from March 2021, with the exact date to be confirmed by Sephora on its social channels. So keep your eye on the Sephora Instagram.

Milk Makeup began at Milk Studios, a fashion photography studio in downtown NYC. The brand was created for the Milk creative community who didn't feel represented by the current player in the beauty space. Thus Milk Makeup was born, a bold and unapologetic brand that created cruelty-free, paraben-free and 100% vegan products even before it was the "cool" thing to do. Despite the brand's global expansion, all aspects of the makeup and skincare are still developed in-house at Milk Studios, the brand’s downtown NYC home.

From multi-use sticks, to an award-winning primer, to high volume mascara, Australians will be getting an array of the best and most-loved products from across the brand's portfolio. This includes the cult KUSH High Volume mascara - lash lovers, this product will change you life. We can also expect to see products like the Lip + Cheek in Werk and the Hydro Grip Primer. No official word just yet, but here's hoping we'll see the Sunshine skin tint at Sephora too. It sounds very much like the antidote to anyone like myself who is currently running low on their Glossier Skin Tint.
