Flying, she dreams of it. Love, she can’t live without it. Her intuition, she follows it. You know her: razor-sharp cheekbones, almond eyes and legs for days. Those legs, they’ve walked the runway for a decade. Once upon a time a student of architecture, now with her own jewellery label, this Pirelli girl is the ingénue we all want to be.
“We often say that first impressions are the most important but with time I realise that the first impressions can often be the wrong ones.”
What is your biggest indulgence? Dark chocolate ice cream. Between art and music … I always feel that pleasure comes from within a person. To have a pleasure from the outside world I need to feel at peace with myself first. If having to choose art or music, I love both, and I wouldn’t like to choose between them. I fantasise about … Flying. I couldn’t live without … Love. My style is … Freestyle! I realise that I’m changing styles very often. From all black, masculine and then I can easily the next day dress in colourful gypsy dresses.
Jewellery to me is ... Since I started to design, it’s my life. There is not one day where I wouldn’t think about my jewellery. My most treasured piece … From my jewellery line, is my spiky brooch that I pin onto sweaters, coats, scarfs – especially now during the winter season. I find inspiration … Before modelling I studied architecture for a year. Jewellery is very much based in architecture and art, which is exactly what I have always been interested in. Forms, shapes, geometry. Artists like Antoni Tàpies, Richard Serra, Man Ray, Serge Lutens. But I can easily get inspired by nature or people that I meet. Often as well, design is somehow born in my head and it’s not related to anything.
