Brisbane's leg is relocating to the Gold Coast
For the first time in over a decade, the festival will shift from its traditional Brisbane home, relocating to Southport Sharks on the Gold Coast. With Brisbane preparing for major renovations ahead of the 2032 Olympics, organisers saw the moment as the perfect opportunity to embrace a new backdrop.
The Southport site promises an intimate yet expansive experience, with easy transport connections, a seamless layout between stages, and a vibrant atmosphere that fans in the region have long been ready to embrace.
Adelaid and Perth have new venues
Adelaide and Perth audiences can also look forward to refreshed settings. The festival will move to the Adelaide Showground, offering upgraded infrastructure and facilities, while Perth’s edition will now be staged at Arena Joondalup, delivering more space and improved production capabilities.
What's staying the same?
Meanwhile, some traditions will remain the same. Sydney’s Centennial Park and Melbourne’s Flemington Park will once again host the iconic event, while Auckland’s edition will return to Western Springs.
