With Season 4 of Industry (finally) on the horizon, now feels like the right time to revisit the episodes that shaped the show into the addictive chaos we know it to be now. If you're new to Pierpoint's trading-floor politics, or are simply looking for a refresher before you delve into the new season, we've got you covered. Below, the best episodes of Industry – and the moments that remind us just how far they've come.
1. 'Induction' (season 1, episode 1)
It goes without saying that the first episode is the best place to start. The pilot is a baptism by fire, and a masterclass in an adrenaline-filled watching experience. It introduces everything Industry does best: impossibly high pressure situations, sharp dialogue, and the secondhand dread that comes with being plunged into a workplace like this one. Harper arrives at Pierpoint with a forged résumé, while Robert drinks through his nerves, and Yasmin silently absorbs the micro-aggressions of her desk. The pressure is suffocating, the stakes enormous, and the tone is perfectly set. It’s the episode that tells you exactly what kind of show Industry is.
2. 'Learned Behaviour' (season 1, episode 5)
A leaked exposé about Pierpoint’s culture throws the whole company into chaos. At the same time, Harper hustles her way into a meeting with an ex-client behind Daria’s back, Yasmin tries (and fails) to win respect at home, and Robert discovers unsettling secrets on a client trip. This is an episode where cracks begin to show.
3. 'Reduction in Force' (season 1, episode 8)
This season finale episode is judgment day, as the grads must prove they deserve permanent positions. Harper has a panic attack mid-pitch, then, without giving too much away, makes the season’s most devastating strategic play. At the same time, Yasmin plays it safe, and Robert manages to hang onto his role by a thread. This is such a stressful watch, it almost feels like our own jobs are on the line.
4. 'The Fool' (season 2, episode 3)
Harper and Eric spend a weekend in the countryside with a client, where Harper quickly realises she’s being cut out of the real negotiations, and the two go head to head. Back in London, Yasmin tries to win her father’s investment and instead finds herself hitting a wall. This episode is less action-packed, but sets the tone for some serious power shifts.
5. 'Jerusalem' (season 2, episode 8)
Everything the season has been building toward hits its peak in the finale. Harper’s decisions finally close in on her, leaving her with nowhere to manoeuvre and no easy exits. Yasmin’s attempt to confront her father leads to one of the series’ most uneasy moments, shifting the ground both personally and professionally. Meanwhile, Robert continues his downward spiral. By the episode’s last moments, each character is left facing the consequences of their own season-long patterns.
6. 'Bring It to the Moon' (season 3, episode 6)
The theme of this episode is deception. In it, long-buried tension between Yasmin and her father rise to the surface, and Harper steps into a role that blurs the line between support and self-interest. What follows is a friendship rupture, imploding under the pressure of secretsand ambition.
