We can’t stop listening to Genesis Owusu’s new track Good Times

Your hips roll just like a wave, I'm tryin' to see just what you do.
It's no secret we're fans of Canberra-based singer songwriter Genesis Owusu. Since the release of his dance-inducing WUTD and his surprise set at our annual F*ck Fashion, Let's Dance party earlier this year, the artist's groove laden brand of funk-rap has been on constant rotation in the RUSSH office.

Today Owusu releases not one but two new tracks - Good Times (featuring Free Nationals) and Simmer Down (it's safe to say our Friday playlist is sorted). Did we mention he appears in our new issue's annual RUSSH Men portfolio series? Get yourself a copy here, or on newsstands today.

Between playing a show on a boat in Orleans, France, and sipping cheap wine under the lights of the Eiffel Tower, take a look back at Genesis Owusu's postcards from his latest tour, exclusively at RUSSH.com.

“After a however many hour long flight and a however many hour long drive, fresh onto the London streets.”

“Team at the Sacré-Cœur Cathedral. Praying away persistent hustlers.”

“Somewhere on a stoop.”

“Played on a show on a boat in Orleans, France. Unknown bucket list check.”

“In Nancy, France, arguing with each other about whether the gold was real.”

“Watched JPEGMAFIA play a show on the same stage that we were gonna play on the next night. I was suffering from food poisoning and loving it.”

“Sleepy boy has had enough after latin clubbing. He sleeps where he wants.”

“Joining the sleepy boy.”

“On the outskirts, bonding with native Parisian wildlife.”

“At the Lourve tryna secure my spot as one of the future pieces.”
