Net-a-Porter launches The Art of Adventure

With international travel slowly returning to normal, Net-a-Porter has partnered with luxury travel platform Plum Guide to craft aspirational, unique travel guides featuring curated vacation wear. The pairing provides an all-encompassing space to help consumers embark on their next adventure, while looking stylish at the same time. For those aspiring to a European summer, bright colours including pink and orange are proving popular, alongside platform shoes and raffia bags. 

 

Shop First Nations Fashion at Chatswood Chase  

Off the back of Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, First Nations Fashion & Design will now be featured as part of the latest designer spotlight for the Edit Collection at Sydney’s premier shopping district, Chatswood Chase. Officially opening this Saturday, May 21, the pop up includes Gantharri designer and NAIDOC Artist of the Year Bobbi Lockyer, Nat Dann of Ihraa Swim, Lauren Thompson and Grace Lillian Lee of Cultural Craftsmanship. The residency begins with a panel discussion held by artist Luke Currie-Richardson, with the feature providing shoppers with the opportunity to support the growth of Indigenous fashion.

 

Swimwear brand Eres collaborates with Scholl as part of X Exhibition

As part of Le Bon Marche’s X Exhibition, swimwear label Eres has collaborated with footwear brand Scholl on a European inspired capsule footwear collection. The Paris-based department store celebrates surprising and left-of-field collaborations as part of the exhibition, bringing together bold combinations of design and innovation. The Eres x Scholl collaboration sees the two brands reimagine the Scholl clog in the Eres Peau Douce fabric, creating a hybrid of two hallmarks of each brand. Made up of four different colourways, the print is complementary to the current Eres summer 22 collection. The collection is now available for purchase through Eres.

 

Hennessy celebrates the NBA Floating Basketball Court with a brood of friends

Earlier this month, Hennessy and the NBA celebrated all things music, sport and creative drinks with Australia's first floating basketball court unveiled on Sydney Harbour. Guests at the exclusive event included A$AP Ferg, Nick Kyrgios and Corey Williams amongst others who sipped on bespoke Hennessy x NBA All-Star Cocktails including the Dropping dimesColada and Royal Court Espresso Martini. The slick, monochromatic court contrasted agains the natural surroundings of the blue harbour, with a neon-lit party commencing as the sun set.

 

Torannce at AAFW

Melbourne-based womenswear label, Torannce, made its much anticipated debut at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, unveiling its Spring 22 Collection to over 300 captivated guests at Carriageworks, Gallery II on Thursday, May 12th 2022.

Featuring runway partners Redken, Pared Eyewear, Kitte Jewellery and Wittner Shoes, it was a spectacle not to be missed, with the latest hairstyle and accessory trends on show to complement the stunning designs
