Fashion moments you may have missed this week

Spring is a time of newness, of rebirth and of reinvigoration; where flora blossoms and life slowly begins to defrosts itself. It's a timely sentiment, given that this week's fashion moments are all about the birth of something new. From new collections from brands like Venroy and BOSS, to entirely new brands launching themselves onto the Australian fashion scene like Unison, there's a lot to be excited about. As per the usual, we've rounded up a list of all the fashion moments from the last week that we think you should know about – both on and off of our shores – below.

 

New Australian fashion label Unison launches

The latest Australian fashion label to join the ranks is Unison, a fresh take on modern, relaxed dressing that aims aims to seamlessly blend sophisticated style with laid-back essentials. The Brand's debut campaign brings together a star-studded cast of some of the country's leading talent, including singer and songwriter Amy Shark, Heartbreak High actor Josh Heuston, actor and model Maddison Brown, professional footballer Josh Cavallo and ecologist and model Zinnia Kumar.

 

Ralph Lauren launch iconic new bag 'The RL 888'

Ralph Lauren have celebrated the release of a their iconic new bag, The RL888. The newly-released crossbody silhouette showcases the Brand's exquisite hand-craftsmanship in Florence, Italy, playing off the contrast between slugged and rugged, modern and timeless. The campaign, starring Anna Ewers and Fei Fei Sun, and shot by Carter Berg, also shares its story across the medium of film, entitled Outside of Time. 

“I am inspired by the beauty of the natural world -- a land of contradictions where sky and rugged terrain convene," said Ralph Lauren. "It is the perfect environment to express the unchanging beauty of The RL 888 and the independent spirit and personal style of the woman that writes her own story wherever she lives."

 

IWC Schaffhausen's Big Pilot Roadshow arrives in Sydney

From Thursday until Saturday this week, watch connoisseurs IWC Schaffhausen's interactive exhibition, The Big Pilot, will be making a pitstop at Sydney's Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. Housed in specially converted shipping containers, the roadshow invites guests to discover the Swiss luxury watchmaker’s history and experience the newest additions in its iconic Pilot’s Watches collection.

“We are delighted to offer guests a private and personalised tour through our IWC Big Pilot Roadshow in Sydney this year. It is an exciting showcase of the IWC spirit and allows us to provide an interactive experience, highlighting our Pilot’s collection, with some of the most desired and distinguished timepieces in the world” says Quentin Chalier, IWC Schaffhausen Brand Manager Australia and New Zealand.

The roadshow is open to the public, though appointments are strongly recommended.

 

Faithfull The Brand launch Drop 1 of their Fall 23 collection

Faithfull The Brand have rolled out the first of three Fall 23 collection drops, and an accompanying NYC-shot campaign for 'La Muse'. The first drop of the collection features an array of garments that do what the brand does best: beautiful, trans-seasonal and romantic 90s inspired resort wear. Drop 2 of the collection will be coming in August, and Drop 3 in September this year.

 

Venroy drop their Spring 23 collection and campaign

The star-studded campaign for BOSS's Fall Winter 23 collection spotlights some of their most influential ambassadors, including the familiar faces of Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid and Suki Waterhouse.

Delivering a blend of tactile sophistication with a relaxed, tailored approach, the collection embodies the BOSS brand to a tee, a striking spectrum of grey tones elevated by retro-futuristic silhouettes and distinctive nature-inspired prints.
