It's the first week of October and the end of a gargantuan intercontinental fashion month. While we recap on the highlights from Paris Fashion Week SS24 (where runways were dominated by celebrity cameos and Australian models), we're looking at what might have fallen through the cracks of our news consumption to bring you our weekly wrap up.

 

Mulberry launch new 'Lana' bag

Earlier this week, English fashion brand Mulberry launched a new bag silhouette into their family of leather goods, called the 'Lana' bag. With a structured shape and statement top handle, the new style has a fresh take on Mulberry's iconic Postman's Lock, this time with a surrealism-inspired Foundry lock that's more fluid and free-flowing in shpae.

The bag is now available online and in Mulberry stores and stockists.

 

Moncler collaborates with adidas Originals

What do you wear if you need to trek up a mountain at 5pm, and be in the city at 6pm? The new Moncler x adidas Originals capsule collection of course – inspired by the journey from the summit to the city. The two iconic brands launched their capsule collection – and accompanying campaign – this week, entitled 'The Art of Explorers', which features a series of AI-generated adventurers and mixed-media sculptures. The collection comprises of puffers, both long and short, as well as track jackets and vests that marry signature Moncler shapes in iconic lacquered nylon, with adidas Originals details, including adi-break paneling.

Ralph Lauren host Paris Fashion Week dinner to launch new RL888 bag

Ralph Lauren hosted an glamorous cocktail evening and dinner with friends of the brand (including RUSSH Editor-in-Chief Jess Blanch) this week during Paris Fashion Week to celebrate the launch of their sophisticated new RL888 bag. The bag, which takes its name from Ralph Lauren's New York City flagship, 888 Madison Avenue, comes complete with the sleek RL logo, offered in palladium, brass or champagne finishes; craftsmanship sure to become a 'signature' piece for every wearer that blends the worlds of form and function effortlessly.

The RL888 bag is now available online and in Ralph Lauren stores and stockists.

 

Chaumet celebrates new installation: A Golden Age: 1965-1985

French high jewellery connoisseurs, Chaumet, welcomed friends of the brand (including Coco Rocha, Toni Garn and Pio Marmaï) to Place Vendôme last week to open their new installation, which celebrates the creativity and style of the 1970s. 'A Golden Age: 1965-1985' was presented in the private salons of 12 Vendôme, which were redecorated for the occasion in a festive atmosphere worthy of Saturday night fever.

 

PUMA celebrate 75th anniversary with Swarovski Creators Lab

Swarovski Creators Lab has announced their collaboration with sporting goods brand PUMA, which comes hot on the heels of the Lab's recent collaborations with brands like Golden Goose, Aquazzura and Dover Street Market. The Swarovski Creators Lab has been pioneering and expanding the definition of high-end fashion since 2021, creating unique and collectible limited-edition capsules illuminated with Swarovski's signature crystals.

For their collaboration, the brands have recreated a limited-edition version of the PUMA Suede sneakers and the PUMA Hoodie, each featuring rows of green Swarovski crystals, masterfully cut to catch the light with every step.
