Fashion moments you might have missed this week

It's been a busy week in the fashion world, as many of our favourite brands and luxury fashion Houses gear up for the festive season. We're season new collections from labels like Burberry, Double Rainbouu, Fendi, Faithfull The Brand and Haydenshapes, while brands like Mulberry and RIMOWA have taken the giving season as an opportunity to continue to extend a hand to the community. Luxury watchmakers Longines celebrated their latest showcase with a notable Bridgerton actor, while Flâner Fragrances opened their first-ever flagship store in Melbourne, and Paspaley opened their latest brick-and-mortar retail space in Sydney's CBD.

Burberry welcomes Spring 24 collection

Daniel Lee's latest collection with the British luxury fashion House is their Spring 24 collection, deepening Lee's sartorial expression with a cast of multi-disciplinary talent (including model Iris Law and musician King Krule) photographed and filmed in London. In a series of short films and stills, each of the talent featured in the campaign expresses what London – and notions of Britishness – mean to them personally.

RIMOWA announces the second edition of the RIMOWA Design Prize

German luxury travel brand RIMOWA have announced the second edition of their RIMOWA Design Prize, following on from the inaugural prize in 2022. The now-annual student competition aims to celebrate Germany's storied design heritage and to inspire young creators. The second edition of the prize will take place from December 2023 until May 2024 in partnership with some of the country's leading design universities. A ceremony celebrating the finalists is set to be held during Berlin Design Week.

Faithfull The Brand drop Resort 23 L'OASIS collection

Bali-based label Faithfull The Brand have shared the last drop of their Resort 23 collection, entitled L'OASIS this week. Evoking a sense of freedom and ease, the collection is a celebration of natural beauty, tranquility and effortless elegance, bringing together a rich colour palette of earthy neutrals, vibrant jewel tones and sun kissed hues inspired by the changing colours of the desert. The accompanying campaign, starring Raquel Brito and captured on film by photographer Jordan Malane and videographer Alex Wall, was shot on location in Egypt.

Haydenshapes launches FW23 Supernatural collection

High performance surf wear label Haydenshapes have launched their Fall Winter 23 collection this week. The Supernatural collection features a series of new prints, the majority of which were lifted from the walls of the brand's Mona Vale factory. Emptying spray guns and pumping new colours through the line created contrasting colour bursts and stencil tests. It also includes pieces from the brand's recent wetsuit collection with Dion Lee, and merino pieces made in partnership with The Woolmark Company.

Flâner Fragrances launches flagship store in Fitzroy

Flâner Fragrances have opened their flagship store in Fitzroy today, the space nestled into an untouched 60-year-old Fitzroy barber shop located at 91 Gertrude St - between Aesop and Le Labo. The store was designed by local architect Chris Thompson Studio, featuring candy poles wrapped in warm leathers, and a central marble counter surrounded by profiled timber cladding.

Mulberry welcomes it's 2023 festive campaign

Mulberry's festive edit and campaign was released this week, celebrating the joy, togetherness and unpredictability of the Christmas season. Featuring a series of playful vignettes exemplifying dry British wit, the campaign captures Sudanese-British model Alek Wek through the lens of filmmaker adn creative Bussy Kineeny. The brand has also continued to show their support for The Felix Project, a London-based charity that saves surplus food from suppliers to redistribute to those in need. Since, 2020 Mulberry's donations have provided more than 300,000 meals for Londoners.

Fendi’s Winter 23/24 collection is here

Fendi's Winter 23/24 collection has landed online and in stores this week, taking a cinematic approach to the use of accessories. A multitude of bags feature in the collection, each with its own, distinct personality. The lineup includes many of the House's greatest hits – iconic new classics like the Baguette appearing alongside new silhouettes. The new Fendi Boston 365 bag appears in a modern and sleek design of hammered leather and with a magnetic opening.

Tiffany & Co. release Holiday 23 campaign starring Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Elaine Zhong

Tiffany & Co. have marked the festive season by unveiling their 2023 holiday campaign, telling a quintessential story of wonder, chance and joy. The campaign, brought to life through visual storytelling, featuring two of the fine jewellery House's ambassadors: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Elaine Zhong. Shot within the Maison’s birthplace, New York City, in a Manhattan townhouse, the pair don the iconic Tiffany & Co. collections.

Double Rainbouu’s Summer 23/24 collection

The Sydney-based label's Summer 23/24 collection was released this week, the brand continuing its move toward a versatile wardrobe of non-gendered ready-to-wear pieces, each weaving through and complementing the ever present colour and bold patterns Double Rainbouu is known for.

Paspaley opened their new Castlereagh Street Boutique in Sydney

Australian luxury jewellers Paspaley have opened the doors to their newest flagship boutique in Sydney's CBD this week, finding a home in Castlereagh Street. The new retail space heralds the continuation of the brand's work with award-winning French architecture firm CARBONDALE, providing an ideal canvas for the beauty of their Australian South Sea Pearls.

Longines hosts 'An Evening with Longines' in Sydney

On Wednesday, luxury watchmakers Longines hosted an evening soiree in Sydney with Bridgerton actor Rege-Jean Page to celebrate the watchmaker's new Mini DolceVita collection. Alongside Page, friends of the brand like Dylan Alcot AO, Sarah Ellen and Georgia Fowler enjoyed the evening's immersive showcase, which featured the brand's latest collaboration with Australian Indigenous artist Otis Hope Carey.
